Before coming to Penn State, I had no idea what college work would be like in comparison to my high school workload. However, I soon realized that college life was much better than I expected. There was more independence, more decisions made for myself, and more time for what I want to do. After declaring my finance major, I felt relieved that things were going in the directions that I wanted. My finance and related coursework are teaching me all the fundamental knowledge I need before stepping into the workforce. My involvement in Women in Business is helping me network with business professionals, as well as gain insight into what career may interest me. The Penn State Consulting Organization led me to the world of consulting. With the help of my mentors, I was able to advance to the Nittany Lion Consulting Group, where I can work with real companies to find a solution to their business problems. When I interview for internships, they are always impressed by what I've learned and experienced at Penn State, which led me to my summer internship of 2021. I can't wait to see what my last year at Penn State will bring me!
